Format: All matches across all categories will be played strictly as Doubles. No singles matches will be conducted.
Tournament Categories: Participants can register for the following categories:
Men’s Doubles
Women’s Doubles
Mixed Doubles
Kids 1: Up to 11 years
Kids 2: 12 to 17 years
Entry Fee: A nominal registration fee of ₹100 per person will be charged. Ramesh GPay (+91 96867 31300)
Please send the individual registration fee via GPay to Ramesh +919686731300. You may also pay for your partner if needed; otherwise, please ask them to send their payment directly to the same number.
Multi-Category Access: The fee is charged "per person" and not "per category." Once a participant pays the ₹100 entry fee, they are eligible to play in multiple applicable categories (e.g., a male resident can play in both Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles under a single ₹100 payment).
Registration Forms: Official registration forms will be rolled out shortly following final internal alignments with the committee members.
Standard Gameplay: The tournament will strictly follow standard badminton rules regarding serving, scoring, and court boundaries.
Punctuality: Teams must report to the court on time. Delays may lead to a walkover to keep the schedule on track.
Fixtures & Formats: The exact match brackets, groups, and tournament format (Knockout or League) will be designed and shared once the final count of participating teams is locked.
To ensure transparency within the community, the organizing committee has introduced the ₹100 entry fee for the following reasons:
Venue Booking: The funds will be utilized to secure and book the Altis Arena for a fixed, dedicated duration.
Crowd & Event Management: Keeping the event completely free often leads to casual registrations, making the event difficult to manage. The fee ensures that only genuinely interested players sign up.
Streamlined Planning: Knowing the exact number of committed players helps the committee design accurate fixtures, plan group stages, and ensure a seamless experience for everyone.
